Connections beyond names
Connect position, note, sound and context with tools for browsing and practice.
Music and technology
FretUp was created to bring study closer to practice: looking at the fretboard, hearing a relationship and finding a purpose for your next session.

Behind the app
Developed by Breno Mayder, FretUp brings exploration, practice and tools together to support people building a relationship with the guitar.
The aim is to offer clear references and room to experiment. An app can help organise study and make it more accessible; music happens through listening, repetition and the instrument.
Meet the developer ↗What guides FretUp
Connect position, note, sound and context with tools for browsing and practice.
Let you start a small activity and find a way to continue later.
Show what the app records without confusing a digital answer with mastery of the instrument.
FretUp does not replace lessons, individual guidance or practice with a real guitar. It does not promise mastery within a fixed time. Use the app alongside your references and seek guidance when needed.
Third-party libraries and materials keep their attribution and licences. See About and credits inside the app for sound sources and software licences. The study catalogue does not provide unrestricted access to commercial music.
